Bell Services Attendant

Department: Front Desk
Location: Young Harris, GA

**Summary:**
Under the direct supervision of the Front Desk Manager/Supervisor, this position accommodates guests of the resort by greeting and assisting arriving/exiting guests in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with a focus on hospitality.

**Qualifications:**

**Essential Functions:**
- Assist guests with luggage and baggage; show guests to their rooms.
- Valet parking for guests' cars if requested.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the resort property, hotel staff, services, guestrooms, and amenities.
- Upsell resort amenities like restaurants, golf, pool, fitness club, spa, and others.
- Act as an information center for guests, providing recommendations on activities and local attractions.
- Keep the hotel entrance, lobby, bell stand, and bell closet clean and organized.
- Protect guest and resort assets by following proper procedures.
- Provide guest amenities and address any issues with courtesy and sincerity.
- Review group cover sheets and event sheets daily.
- Answer the telephone promptly and courteously following SOPs.

**Requirements:**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, and speak effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail point-of-sale systems.
- Current valid driver’s license.
- Ability to drive standard and automatic transmissions.

**Physical Demands:**
Position requires standing, walking, sitting, using hands, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, and lifting/moving up to 50 pounds. Must maneuver over uneven surfaces.

**Work Environment:**
Regularly standing and walking in an outdoor environment. Moderate noise level in the work environment. Availability to work on Sundays is a must.
